See this guy on this picture?
Well he is the Republican (beurk beurk la derecha!) senator of Oklahoma and is making a point that will change the course of humanity forever:
"As you see here, and I think this is maybe the most important prop well have during the entire debate, my wife and I have been married 47 years. We have 20 kids and grandkids. Im really proud to say that in the recorded history of our family, weve never had a divorce or any kind of a homosexual relationship."
From there to a documentary shown on Channel 4 this week: God's Next Army about a college that teaches by the Bible and whose students tend to volunteer for the Republican party.
I was just laughing at them: most of them were home-schooled (so had never met different people) but were very afraid of "depravation and homosexual marriage out there" (for their info, there is still no gay marriage in the US). They are in favor of low taxes because "the land is the Lord's, not the state's".
Now how do you respond to such non sense?
My boyfriend was quite afraid, but I thought: communism collapsed because it wasnt sustainable. How can such a movement be sustainable on the long term? They are just afraid of others and in total denial of reality ("the strates in the ground are not due to accumulation through millions of years, they come from the flood")
So I just laughed.
